- Facilities Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
- Coordinate with building management, contractors, and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
- Manage office space planning, including desk assignments, meeting room setups, and common area organization.
- Monitor and maintain office equipment, furniture, and supplies, ensuring timely repairs and replacements.
- Office Management
- Manage office supply inventory, placing orders and ensuring cost-effective procurement.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Serve as the main point of contact for office-related inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate company events, meetings, and catering services.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including setting up workstations and coordinating access.
- Set up daily lunch for the employees in the office and order groceries as needed.
- Keep the kitchen tidy and organized, load and unload the dishwasher and additional small cleaning tasks as needed to maintain a clean and orderly (kitchen) environment.
3. Employee Support
- Provide general support to employees, including troubleshooting facility-related issues and assisting with office needs.
- Foster a positive office environment that promotes productivity and employee satisfaction.
Your experience
Scale-ups provide phenomenal learning and development opportunities but sometimes it feels like you’re “building the plane while flying the plane”. You must derive energy from such a climate and don’t mind redesigning for continuous growth, feeling comfortable with some uncertainty.
You have
- Availability for approximately 4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- A proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving office equipment.
