We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Benefits and Compensation to join us in the Netherlands.

The Senior Analyst, Benefits and Compensation will provide support to the Global Compensation & Benefits team on key Reward and People projects; including but not exhaustively benefit review and renewal processes, Annual Salary Review, Annual Bonus Processes and other projects such as Global Grading and performance management.

What will you be doing?

General

  • Provide professional advice on compensation and benefits policies at both individual and policy level
  • Point of contact for day-to-day Compensation and Benefits related queries from People Business Partners and People Services team
  • Research best practices, documenting, developing and improving robust Reward processes and practices

Benefits

  • Act as the subject-matter expert on benefits, providing advice to HR, Finance, and senior stakeholders on competitive and compliant offerings.
  • Analyse benefits utilisation, cost, and ROI; produce insights and recommendations to optimise spend and improve employee value.
  • Support annual benefits renewal cycles, including market benchmarking, cost modelling, and recommendation papers.
  • Ensure benefits programmes comply with local legislation, tax requirements, and governance standards across relevant geographies.
  • Support the implementation of the Wet toekomst pensioenen (WTP), ensuring coordination with stakeholders, advisors, and employee communications
  • Develop and maintain benefits policies, documentation, and employee-facing materials.

Compensation

  • Gathering & analysing data from across the businesses as directed to analyse & provide accurate insights
  • Contribute to the development, improvement and implementation of policies & processes in areas such as incentive programmes, benchmarking and global grading; accountable for project roll-outs
  • Variable Pay Programme: Support the Global Compensation Team on the annual Bonus review
  • Support execution ad-hoc benchmarking & job evaluation requests
  • Providing deep and meaningful analysis of the compensation market including trends

Project Support

  • Support the delivery of Reward projects such as Global Job Grading, Performance & Recognition, reorganisations, gender pay reporting, and compliance with EU Pay Transparency requirements.
  • Management Information: Support the Global Compensation & Benefits Team in preparing presentations collating information for Leadership sign-off
  • Assist with project coordination, data analysis, documentation and stakeholder communications.

We tend to look for people with:

  • Proven experience in a similar Compensation & Benefits role in a complex environment
  • Strong experience of working on projects within the Compensation arena
  • A flexible approach with a sense of urgency
  • A good understanding of statistical analysis techniques
  • Highly numerate and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • IT literate with advanced Excel skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of new labour and social legislations which affect employees’ benefits
  • Strong relationship and communication skills with experience of senior management interaction
  • Customer focused & good commercial awareness
  • Creative thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to step back and see the big picture
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to simplify complex financial and accounting concepts
