What are you going to do?

As a Junior Technical Support Engineer at Nedap Livestock, you play a key role in helping our partners get the most out of our technology. You offer hands-on support — both remotely and on-site — ensuring smooth installation, confident use and a consistently positive experience. This role is perfect for someone who is technically curious, eager to learn, interested in livestock farming and energized by working closely with people.

Your responsibilities

• Support partners remotely and on-site with product-related questions, troubleshooting and technical configurations;
• Deliver clear product installation training, enabling partners to deploy our solutions with confidence;
• Create training materials and technical documentation that support both partners and internal teams;
• Act as a bridge between product development and the users of our technology;
• Contribute to a great customer experience by communicating clearly, promptly and helpfully;

Your team

The Technical Support team at Nedap Livestock is based in Groenlo and strengthened by colleagues working across the globe. As part of our Operations organisation, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers and our software and hardware developers to keep improving our solutions. You’ll also work with application and account managers to ensure our partners consistently experience high-quality support and real value in every interaction.

Required experience and skills

• A junior-level technical background (e.g., IT, electronics, mechatronics, or engineering);
• Strong customer focus with good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Technical affinity — you enjoy solving problems and understanding how things work;
• A willingness to learn, grow and take initiative in a hands-on support environment;
• Willingness to occasionally travel internationally for on-site support and training;
• Analytical thinking, resilience and a proactive mindset;
• A structured and detail-oriented way of working;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
• Confidence communicating in both Dutch and English.

Good to know: You are available for 32-38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are preferably present at our campus in Groenlo at least three days a week.
