Meet the Team

You’ll be part of the BT-HQ IT team, a close-knit group within the Business Technology department. This team manages everything related to CHO (Central Head Office) and LHO (Local Head Office) IT topics, offering direct support to employees and contributing to broader IT initiatives. We operate with a service-first mindset, and you’ll collaborate with colleagues across Europe to ensure smooth IT operations.

Your Responsibilities

In this dynamic and hands-on role, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support at our Central Head Office in Amsterdam, and occasionally at our Local Head Offices across Europe. You’ll play a key role in making sure our colleagues can rely on the tools and technology they need every day, while also contributing to smart improvements and exciting projects that help the business grow.

As an HQ IT Support Engineer, you will:

  • Provide first-line support to CHO and LHO employees on hardware and software issues
  • Deliver onsite support across EU-based LHO locations as needed
  • Set up and deploy laptops, manage user onboarding, and handle account creation
  • Monitor and manage IT service tickets, escalate issues, and track resolutions
  • Support Microsoft Teams Meeting Room systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Maintain and manage hardware and software inventories
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality IT support and service delivery
  • Assist in IT-related projects across the business.

Bring all of you

You are high on energy, low on ego, and always bring a smile—even when tackling tough IT issues. You have strong communication and problem-solving skills, and you enjoy helping others work smarter. You also bring:

  • 2–4 years of relevant IT support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Apple products and Microsoft environments
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and ITIL Asset Management
  • Experience supporting Teams Meeting Rooms
  • Familiarity with Jamf (Jamf 200 certification is a plus)
  • Knowledge of WVD (Windows Virtual Desktop)
  • Willingness to travel within Europe for onsite support
  • Excellent written and spoken English; other EU languages are a plus
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a bonus

Location and Working Conditions

While flexible working is available, this role requires a strong on-site presence to engage with stakeholders and build connections effectively. This role is based in Amsterdam at our Central Head Office. You’ll primarily work onsite, with occasional travel to local head offices across Europe.
