About the role

MediaMarkt is a leading consumer electronics retailer with a strong focus on innovation, customer orientation, and growth. Within our organization, people are the key to success, which is why we are looking for a driven HR Business Partner for our storesto strengthen our team.

As an HR Business Partner, you are responsible for providing strategic and operational HR advice to the management of MediaMarkt in your region. You work closely with managers to develop and implement HR initiatives that contribute to organizational goals. As a trusted HR expert and advisor on personnel policy, labor relations, and organizational development, you frequently visit your stores to make an impact with your insights and advice.

Your Responsibilities

Advising and Supporting Management

  • Provide both solicited and unsolicited HR policy advice and translate it into practice in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Act as a coach for managers and assist in resolving labor disputes.

Workforce Planning

  • Assess staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment, internal mobility, and employee departures.
  • Support management in applying employment conditions.

Health & Safety and Training

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and coordinate absenteeism management.
  • Assess training needs and monitor the effectiveness of training programs.

Change Management

  • Analyze organizational culture and structural challenges, providing improvement recommendations.
  • Facilitate change processes and participate in company-wide projects.

Your Profile

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in HR or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an HR advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and excellent analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and a real team player.
  • Flexible; you don’t mind traveling frequentlyto stores in your region.
