To keep up, our People processes need structure, consistency, and care. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist who actually loves people and keeping things organized. You believe well-run HR processes are a quiet superpower, and that answering a “quick HR question” in the hallway (with kindness and clarity) matters just as much as getting the details right behind the scenes.

What you’ll be doing

Your role will be the heartbeat💚of our day-to-day People Operations. You’ll work closely with your manager, Lara (Senior People Ops Specialist), and Lia (our People Ops Specialist). From the first moment a new colleague signs their contract to the details that make an offboarding, you’ll make it all run seamlessly.

• Be the go-to person for employee questions, whether it's about leave, contracts, or “how do we do this again?”

• Help manage absence and sick leave cases, and communicate with our occupational health service (Arbodienst) and UWV.

• Keep our HR system (HiBob) and internal People documentation accurate and up-to-date.

• Support core administrative processes such as payroll, visa sponsorship, and (parental) leave management, as well as onboarding, contract changes, offboarding, and everything in between.

• Own and improve the onboarding experience so our new ‘Quatters’ feel seen, welcomed, and ready to go.

Job requirements

What you bring

• 1–3 years of experience in People Operations or a general HR role

• You get things done: you’re the kind of person who follows through on commitments, takes action, and pays attention to the details

• A degree in HR, Business Administration, or similar is a plus

• You’re familiar with Dutch labor law and have experience with Arbodienst and UWV processes

• You speak English fluently and have at least conversational Dutch (fluency is a plus)

• Bonus points if you’ve worked in a fast-growing environment, love onboarding, and don’t mind giving a presentation every now and then. ✨
