Senior Facilities Manager, Hard Services
About the role
The Senior Facilities Manager will oversee all aspects of facilities hard services operations and maintenance, including facilities engineering and project management, to ensure smooth operations across all Dyson’s facilities located in the Philippines. This role will report to the Head of Facilities (Philippines).
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the 24/7 operations of facilities hard services and building infrastructures, including its safe, compliance and efficient operation while meeting business and operational requirements.
- Responsible for facilities project management and delivery from design, construction, commission, and take-over. Be the technical subject matter expert for facilities systems engineering, utilities, operation and maintenance.
- Responsible for facilities Opex and Capex budgets and spent, while seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements that do not compromise safety or reliability.
- As system owner for facilities operation technology including CMMS, BMS and IWMS. Lead and be responsible for the implementation, setup and management to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
- Take accountability for facilities compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards to maintain a safe and healthy workplace, and to prevent unplanned interruptions to facilities operations.
- Take accountability for safe work practice, and site established safety protocol for all work activities. Lead/Participate in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control.
- Represent Facilities team in collaboration and engagement with stakeholders and external service providers.
- Drive sustainability culture and initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of the facility. Ensure facilities are designed and operated to relevant wellness, energy, or sustainability standards.
- Lead troubleshooting to interruption/incident, root cause identification and implement corrective, and preventive action in the shortest period. Ensure prompt evaluation and communication with stakeholders.
- Provides leadership to others, may manage large teams of professionals, technical experts, managers, and service providers. Responsible for team’s training and development and drive performance to meeting KPI.
- Drive continuous improvement initiative and culture. Established effective monitoring, measurement, and analysis for evaluating the performance of systems’ operation in meeting set KPIs. Recommend and implement improvement/changes where appropriate and drive cost savings program.
- Responsible for the availability and up-keep of all technical related document, drawings, SOP, and permits and to ensure compliance to Code, ISO and Dyson’s protocol.
- Support other sites work request when required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
- Minimum 15 years’ work experience in Facilities Hard Services operation and maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronic industry.
- Familiar with relevant Code, Standards and Practices, including HSE, Compliance, WELL, LEED and ISO.
