Build SLA Quality Assurance Senior Manager to join us! Do you want to be part of a new team to take UK connectivity to its next level? Job Purpose
You'll manage the SLA overview and tracking of the E2E network build processes and the delivery of the network build programme according to standards set, ensuring as-built works meet quality and compliance standards. You will also analyze any variance from the strategic business plan and design, and report the information about KPIs and SLA compliance to the involved stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Defining key metrics: define suitable metrics to measure critical performance indicators for Network Build
- Overview of SLA Monitoring and Tracking: oversee the main monitored E2E Network Build Lifecycle KPIs related to time, cost, and quality
- Supporting decision-making: support management and senior leadership to make critical business decisions
- Oversee Design Quality compliance: oversee the compliance of the design plan, avoiding delays for the build delivery, ensure that the latest design standards and guidelines are applied and continually improved with a focus on cost and time reduction
- Oversee Build Quality compliance: oversee the progress of network build, supporting any quality issues/risks and suggesting means for resolution
- Build quality assessing: oversee that local areas have been treated with respect and care, and confirm our works have met expected quality standards
- Build Exception Approval Management: track all issues identified during the network acceptance until resolved appropriately, devise remedial actions
- Signing off As-Builts: with the support of the Network Design Manager, compare as-built networks against the high-level and detailed design to ensure continuity
- Ensure network inventory is updated: provide sign-off to update GIS and network inventory systems
- Driving innovation and continual improvement: push to employ new methods and techniques to improve the speed, quality, and cost of deploying the network
Who are you?
- Experience in setting SLAs for performance, as well as monitoring and tracking performance
- Previous experience in the telecoms industry, ideally involved with E2E network build
- Passionate, self-motivated, and driven with a hunger for learning and growth
- Results oriented with energy and accuracy to achieve and exceed stretching objectives and to deliver within tight timescales
- Always approaches tasks from the customer’s perspective, seeing potential problems and finding and driving solutions
- Dynamically responds to both strategic and tactical requirements
You may also have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Industrial or Construction Engineering, or similar
- An IRCA accredited auditing qualification (preferably ISO 9001)
- Experience sufficient to obtain practitioner membership of the Chartered Quality Institute
- Knowledge and/or auditing qualification in ISO 14001, ISO 20000 and/or ISO 27001 is advantageous
