Manage the core process of a fast growing scale-up in strategy and M&A.
About Sweav
Sweav is a fast-growing tech platform and community, connecting A-player freelance strategy and M&A professionals with clients and projects.
Our purpose is to empower these A-players to take ownership of their time and career. So they can work where they make the biggest impact — and be a more productive member of society.
At the same time, we make it accessible for clients to work with these A-players. With a more flexible, human, pragmatic and cost-effective model than the traditional professional services firms.
Since launching in 2022, we’ve grown to a community of 350 freelancers and over 400 clients across private equity, corporates and scale-ups. We’ve doubled in revenue every year, and we expect to continue doing so. Sweav is currently with a team of 18.
About the job
We’re looking for someone to manage the core of what we're all about: people and projects.
You will:
- Turn conversations into opportunities. Join client intake calls, help unpack their challenges, and translate them into crystal-clear project opportunities for the community.
- Match people to projects. Craft compelling project opportunity posts (with support from AI), spread the word in the Sweav community app, and personally tap the right members for the job.
- Guide project closings. Track interest, support client selection, and close the loop fast—on both sides.
- Keep track of projects. Stay close to clients and members with regular check-ins and timeline tracking.
- Champion quality. Gather insights throughout and after each project to ensure we’re learning, improving, and raising the bar every time.
- Level up our data game. Keep member profiles fresh and sharp so we can keep making better, faster, smarter matches.
- Keep the Sweav community top-tier. Review incoming applications, identify the top-tier talent, and guide them through our streamlined selection process to make sure they're set up for success from day one.
In the role, you'll working directly with the founders on a day-to-day basis.
What gets you energized
- Closing deals. You enjoy getting deals over the line and building strong relationships with top-tier clients and members.
- Fast learning. You're eager to learn the ins and outs of strategy and M&A projects. From startup fundraising to buy-and-build execution and business plans—you’ll see it all.
- High pace. You move fast. You’re someone who thrives on urgency and makes things happen—now, not later.
- People. You get motivated by happy clients and making members thrive on our platform.
- Efficiency. You know which tasks can be automated. And you use AI and smart workflows to focus on what really matters: delivering value.
- Ownership. You take responsibility. You keep projects on track and make sure both members and clients have a smooth ride.
What we're looking for
We're looking for a native Dutch speaker, fitting close to one of the three profiles below:
- Recruitment / executive search. You’ve spent 4–6 years at a headhunting or recruitment firm, filling roles in strategy, M&A or at C-level. You enjoy the commercial side of matching people to roles—but you’re not a sales machine. You want to dive deeper into the content and get a better grasp of what strategy and M&A are really about. And you’re done with the traditional recruitment game.
- Consulting. You’ve worked 2–3 years in strategy consulting, corporate finance or private equity. You’re sharp and analytical, but your current role feels too abstract. You’re missing the action. You want something more hands-on, more commercial, and more focused on working with people.
- Recruitment + commercial. You’ve got 4–6 years of experience. Your most recent job is in recruitment—at a strategy consultancy, PE firm or corporate finance shop. Before that, you held a more commercial role, maybe in executive search or recruitment. You know the people in this segment inside out. But you miss the client side and the thrill of closing a deal.
