Role description:

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join us in the Netherlands, focusing on attracting and selecting talent for Arcadis across our Resilience Business (Environment / Energy Transition / Water). In this role, you will contribute to the business’s success by owning all recruitment processes and enabling the business to prioritize its hiring in accordance with its commercial needs. You will also support the overall employer of choice agenda in the delivery of talent. As part of a global talent acquisition function, you will be a true business partner.

Role accountabilities:

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will be proactively going to market, via multiple sourcing channels, to attract the best possible talent to expand our teams, primarily within the disciplines of Design & Engineering, Program & Project Management, and Environmental Specialisms. You may also be asked to resource roles from a wider portfolio on occasion.

  • Proactively going to market, via multiple sourcing channels, to source the best possible talent to expand our teams.
  • Using your market knowledge and best practice to advise stakeholders on process and ensure that all roles are sourced effectively.
  • Positioning Arcadis as an employer of choice while conducting candidate screening and interviewing prospective candidates.
  • Managing a high volume of permanent vacancies across diverse levels and skill sets, ensuring that priorities are identified and met.
  • Managing the overall candidate experience, ensuring a positive outcome for all individuals, regardless of outcome.
  • Being a trusted advisor to hiring managers and the various stakeholders you encounter throughout the recruitment process.
  • Advocating for our values and ensuring our recruitment processes are inclusive and free of biases.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience hiring talent in the Netherlands.
  • Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, headhunting, Boolean searching, and best practice use of Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Ability to credibly advise stakeholders on recruiting best practice.
  • Capable of confidently and articulately contributing to Talent Acquisition discussions, demonstrating a proactive, positive, and curious mindset.
  • Able to overcome setbacks, learn, and continue to develop.
  • Experience delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Strong consulting and influencing skills.
  • Experience working within a complex business with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
