Finance Excellence Lead

About the role:

You are responsible for identifying and driving Finance excellence projects together with your stakeholders to continuously improve the Finance Function deliverables for Finance staff and non-Finance users of Finance output to benchmark levels. You will work with a small, dedicated team of business process experts, as well as our Outsourced service provider (BPO) for business processes and IT delivery partner to achieve these goals. You act as a Product owner for the finance domain, defining the Finance process & IT roadmap and collaborating with other functions to drive improvements and implement compliant solutions to the Versuni business template.

The impact you’ll make:

This role reports to the Head of Group Controlling. The role requires solid senior stakeholder management, strong advisory skills, an engaging communication style, and people management experience.

• Drive the strategy development and implementation of the finance process & systems template used within Versuni
• Own the finance roadmap to deploy new technical developments globally (such as Robotics, AI & Advanced Analytics)
• Be responsible for the finance template, including integration with other functions like SCM, IT, and Consumer Care
• Participate in budget discussions to safeguard investments needed to achieve the roadmap
• Align with key stakeholders within outsourced organizations (BPO/technical delivery team) to deliver the transformation roadmap
• Collaborate closely with markets and functions such as Operations to ensure legal requirements are implemented for compliance
• Define work structures across departments to deliver proper process governance and Masterdata
• Validate and approve finance outcomes from processes together with the team of Business Process Experts

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Relevant work experience in the Finance domain
• Financial education and/or relevant experience (Finance Master, CMA, CFA, or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of finance tools (Excel, ERP, business intelligence tools) and LEAN methodologies
• Strong senior stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
• Natural interest in developing a deep understanding of the Versuni business and its financial aspects
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluency in English
