Inventory Planning Specialist

About the role:

As an Inventory Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process within a short-term planning horizon (0–13 weeks). You will be responsible for inventory planning to ensure optimal product availability, minimal waste, and seamless coordination across markets, supply centers, and warehouses. This position requires strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable supply chain decisions. You will be part of the Supply Chain Management – Europe team.

The impact you’ll make:

• Facilitate the short-term planning cycle by aligning demand, supply, and inventory plans across markets to ensure supply meets demand targets.
• Schedule, prioritize, and plan inbound flow and stock to maximize availability.
• Collaborate with the extended supply chain team to identify and address demand-supply gaps, ensuring proactive decision-making.
• Develop and maintain regular inventory reports, providing visibility to key stakeholders and supporting performance reviews.
• Leverage technology, process mapping, and business analytics to enhance planning accuracy, improve data integrity, and drive continuous improvement across the S&OE process.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 2-5 years’ experience in a planning function within Supply Chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel (e.g. Macros, Power Query, Power Pivot and/or Data Modeling preferred) and SAP.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
