About this role

The Group Reporting Specialist plays a key role in the delivery of high-quality financial reporting within the Group Control team and reports directly to the Head of Group Reporting.

This team is responsible for external reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), developing and maintaining key reporting deliverables, and managing the annual report process. The team also supports local finance teams with complex accounting queries and reporting matters.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Support in preparing key reporting deliverables, including half-year and annual financial statements, in compliance with legal, regulatory, and IFRS requirements
• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the financial reporting infrastructure, such as the Group Accounting Manual and reporting guidelines
• Perform detailed IFRS analyses and prepare technical accounting papers, liaising with external specialists and auditors as required
• Handle complex accounting areas, such as share-based payments and litigation-related matters
• Support the implementation of process improvements, automation initiatives, and training materials to enhance reporting efficiency
• Monitor developments from standard setters and regulators, supporting their translation into practical accounting and reporting updates
• Assist in internal control and reporting processes, including letters of representation, subsequent events reporting, and other key deliverables in the external reporting cycle
• Act as the central point of contact across departments and act as a liaison between teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of complex accounting for external financial reporting.

What will you bring to the table?

• Around 6–8 years of experience in external audit or financial reporting, ideally in a global or complex reporting environment (e.g. Big 4 or similar).
• Professional qualification such as RA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
• Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to apply IFRS principles to complex transactions
• High attention to detail combined with a practical, solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines
• Proactive approach to learning, continuous improvement, and contributing to a high-performing reporting team
