Your Challenge:

Lead End2End product development projects in Grooming & Beauty from the Idea phase to Product launch. As the E2E Project Director, you will oversee a set of projects within the Grooming & Beauty category, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative products and solutions, which may include physical products, native apps, web solutions, and voice-enabled technologies. The Grooming & Beauty Research & Development team is dedicated to developing and delivering innovations that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, building on a deep understanding of consumer needs and aspirations to help them achieve their lifestyle ambitions.

As PMO, the goal is to be recognized as experts in project and program execution. The team enables success by being transparent, engaged on all levels and E2E, and delivering on promises. Responsibilities include creating clear and standardized E2E communication on product roadmaps and market commitment, ensuring reliable product roadmap delivery, and driving consumer and business value with speed, reliability, and E2E transparency.

Your role:

  • Lead multiple projects within a product category, managing project budgets between 10 and 75 million Euro, and coordinating teams of 10–100 employees depending on project scope and phase.
  • Ensure end-to-end delivery of New Product Introduction and effective communication throughout the process.
  • Shape the project scope and ambition of new propositions in collaboration with the Consumer Market Director and Category Program Manager, based on business needs.
  • Determine, together with the Category Program Manager, the time and cost required to execute proposition, technical features, architecture platform, and product development until launch.
  • Identify which innovations, technologies, and standard modules will be used in the consumer product, based on consumer and business needs and internal technical competence departments.
  • Initiate and execute the product development phase with internal function developers, industrial designers, mechanical and electronic product developers, quality engineers, consumer researchers, and purchasers.
  • After finalizing product development, develop and release production processes and equipment in the Supply Chain or at key suppliers abroad via OEM/ODM models.
  • Ensure commitments towards business, markets, and supply chain are managed transparently and are End2End aligned during product development.
  • Set up a review structure with your team to provide optimal insight into the current status of the project and initiate corrective actions if required.
  • Communicate project status, results, and activities with team members and internal and external stakeholders, always ensuring alignment of expectations.
  • This is an international role, and some travel is required.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Master’s degree in a technical subject, preferably mechanical engineering.
  • You have 5+ years of demonstrated ability in handling international multidisciplinary projects, preferably in Business to Consumer environments.
  • You possess engineering experience in product development; experience in production is an advantage.
  • You demonstrate organizational sensitivity and can communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • You are able to look from a business perspective in addition to your technical background, with a basic understanding of other disciplines such as marketing, purchasing, and design.
  • You are eager to learn, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and a can-do attitude.
