As a Senior Quantitative Risk Manager specializing in Capital Management, you will support the IMAP project, a multi-year initiative aimed at securing regulatory approval for the use of the internal model. Your Responsibilities:

• Internal Model: Support project team into translating the impact of the Internal Model to solvency and the various capital metrics.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure clear communication, alignment, and transparency.
• Risk identification and regulatory Compliance: Assist the CRO by providing relevant insights to the Risk Committee, ORSA, Product Approval Committee and participation into market wide insurance working groups on dedicated topics.
• Participate in solvency-related activities, including quarterly closing, forecasting, and planning, while enhancing existing analyses and critically evaluating assumptions.
• Project Management: Plan and coordinate M&As and reinsurance projects, including stakeholder interaction, quality management, and overseeing project.
• Profitability Analysis: Assess product profitability for Life and Non-Life sectors in terms of capital consumption, utilizing metrics like Return on Risk Capital and Capital Generation.

Your Profile

To thrive in the role of Senior Risk Manager within Capital Management, you should possess a Master’s degree in Econometrics, Mathematics/Statistics, (Financial) Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, or a similar field. You have a proven track record in Finance/Insurance, with practical experience in applied financial mathematics. You are detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch and/or French as a plus. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, programming knowledge (e.g., Python, R, VBA), and strong quantitative skills to explain complex analyses clearly. As a motivated team player, you contribute positively to team dynamics and drive efficiency within Risk Management by continuously improving processes and tools, including automation with GenAI or programming languages.
