As IT PLM Business Process Analyst – SAP PLM you work as part of a team of application engineer specialists, focusing on the design and implementation of technical solutions in support of customer needs (in- and outside of IT). You'll generally work within one or multiple teams in a Release Train. You'll execute the most complex tasks to build new solutions in line with industry standards.

Role and responsibilities

As IT PLM Business Process Analyst you'll understand the application software roadmap and oversee the larger system. You support and signal problems on the level of the Agile Release Train and act as a mentor for colleagues to explain problems and solutions. As IT PLM Business Process Analyst – SAP PLM, you’ll:

  • Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products and services. Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve quality of the website, portal, applications software, and support infrastructure to better meet users’ needs.
  • Design, select, implement and support solutions in line with industry best practice and provide a third-line point of escalation for appropriate solutions. Commit on targets, cost and result. Solve escalated multiple complex problems or incidents and formulate alternative solutions. List potential solutions for issues or requirements and provide well-based advice to business on preferred solution.
  • Independently perform solution tests and monitor, diagnose and correct issues.
  • Ensure availability of the services provided in cooperation with colleagues from other IT specialty areas. Support data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for product or service improvement.
  • Define straightforward control measures on Information Security (e.g., encryption), Data Management (build, maintain and govern the liability of the trusted dataset), Business Continuity (e.g., back-up recovery) and Regulatory Compliancy (e.g., review privacy, retention, SOX). Propose solutions to Security Experts about security risks or problems.
  • Act as a mentor and contribute actively to competence development.
  • Act as regional operational business partner supporting business in efficiently executing their business processes, including supporting them in defining IT improvement. Provide support to regional key users for incidents and questions, including if required escalation to IT support partners and vendors. Provide support to global and regional project initiatives; from design review through testing and deployment, including training.
