FrieslandCampina Ingredients (B2B) is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Manager Sales Early Life Nutrition to join our EMEA Sales team. In this role, you'll play a key part in executing the commercial strategy, helping to give infants and toddlers the best possible start in life while driving value growth.

As Manager Sales ELN, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support and mentorship to 5 sales managers, fostering a high performance culture, strategic planning and performance monitoring. Next to this you will be responsible for one of our leading Infant Food Customers in EMEA.

This role requires a deep understanding of the market landscape, including consumer insights, competitors, customers, and our company’s unique capabilities.

What we ask

  • Master’s degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, International Business or a related field.
  • At least 10-12 years of relevant experience in Sales Management, Marketing, or strategic business development in an international setting - preferably within Early Life Nutrition in, health, food, or nutrition industries in EMEA.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth through Sales strategy, execution, and collaboration with Marketing/BD teams - including relationship-building, leading teams, KPI monitoring, and sales conversion.
  • Corporate experience, with the ability to navigate within complex organizations and make a meaningful impact.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - proactive, ownership-driven, and committed to driving initiatives forward.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of your time

Vacancy description

  • Develop the operational Sales plan in EMEA for the assigned domain and contribute to the development of the sales strategy one level higher, in line with customer and business objectives.
  • Hire, coach and direct employees and manage, appraise and develop (the cooperation between) employees of the own department/discipline using the instruments, service and procedures of the HRM department.
  • Initiate and maintain relations with strategic (potential) customers, monitor the developments and performance.
  • Make contract proposals, negotiate with (potential) clients and ensure the signing of contracts in line with approved sales strategy as well as monitoring the execution of the contract (e.g. right products at the customer on the right place).
  • Generate ideas for innovation and new products/market segments/product market combinations based on customer requests and market analyses, develop business cases and internal possibilities and/or ensure the execution.
  • Develop, maintain and expand a network of strategic external and internal relations and look after the interests of the organization.

You will report to the Regional Sales Director EMEA Marketing Director and will be heading a team of Salesmanagers, you will be part of the EMEA Sales team. The role will work closely together with the Regional Marketeers, Product Managers, Finance R&D and demand management. The position is based in Amersfoort in our Head Quarter of FrieslandCampina.
