Working Student - Brand Activation & Events

Rotterdam / Hybrid – 3 days per week

Are you a social, results-driven student looking to make a real impact within a young and ambitious team? Magnet.me is looking for a Working student Brand Activation & Events to support our student brand manager team and help accelerate our growth across the Netherlands.

What you’ll be doing

As a Brand Activation Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting our Student Brand Manager team. In every major student city in the Netherlands, a local student (Student Brand Manager) helps grow Magnet.me among students and young job seekers. They use their knowledge of the city and campus life to boost awareness through word-of-mouth, partnerships, and on-campus promotion.You’ll provide guidance where needed, and identify opportunities for growth. You’ll also be responsible for various projects focused on both brand awareness and acquisition. With your support, both Magnet.me and the Student Brand Manager team will reach the next level.

Your responsibilities include:

• Driving growth and visibility among HBO and WO students in the Netherlands through offline marketing initiatives and partnerships with educational institutions
• Supporting and guiding our Student Brand Managers (SBM)
• Responsible for the strategy, coordination, and execution of all career events with the support of the SBM team
• Responsible for managing the budgets for partner collaborations.
• Responsible for managing partnerships between Magnet.me and student associations as well as career events and institutions (i.e. event preparation, logistical coördination, creating briefing).
• Contributing to the development and execution of strategic brand activation campaigns among students and graduates
• Monitoring and optimizing ongoing initiatives. You’ll help define the annual roadmap to hit offline marketing targets, while monitoring results and optimizing ongoing projects.
• Taking ownership of projects and providing leadership (prior experience is a plus, not a must)
• Responsible for organizing the annual brand activation at Nationale Carriere Beurs

What we're looking for

• You have a hands-on mentality and know how to motivate others
• You're structured, results-oriented,and know how to get things done
• Comfortable taking initiative and driving projects forward independently
• You're social, proactive, and an excellent communicator
• You're fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written)
• You’re available for at least 1 year
• You hold driver’s license
• Leadership experience is a bonus
