Senior HR Generalist - Dutch Speaker

What you'll do

• Provide expert advice on local labor law matters and ensure legal compliance with local employment regulations.
• Support individual cases such as illness, underperformance, misconduct, and terminations, providing guidance and assistance to employees and managers.
• Mentor and guide managers and employees on conflict handling and grievance resolution.
• Support the rollout of HR programs with regional or global impact.
• Provide day-to-day advisory and coaching to managers on several aspects of human resources, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
• Be a contact person for local Works Councils on all aspects of the HR agenda in partnership with HR Legal.
• Manage restructurings and reorganizations, ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and in accordance with local employment laws and regulations.

What you'll need

• Have extensive knowledge of employment law across Europe.
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior employee relations, HR Generalist, or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in employee relations, including performance management, grievance handling, and terminations.
• Experience coaching employees and management through complex and difficult cases.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch (Written & Spoken).

What’s nice to have

• Experience working in a tech company and/or international environment.
• Knowledge of international employment practices (preferable if including Belgian and French social law).
• Other languages such as French and German.
• Knowledge and experience in Agile HR.
