Senior Product Manager - Token Services

Ordering a pizza? Buying a pair of trainers? Watching a movie? Hailing a ride? Chances are Adyen is handling your payment. Adyen’s Digital Secure Payments team is responsible for an important part of the payments engine of the Adyen platform. We ensure digital experiences can be seamlessly secured from the card selection, passing through a smooth authentication and tokenization process, to ultimately deliver a higher conversion for our merchants. We strive to optimize card payment performance in existing markets and add new payment features for various use cases. Through our direct connections into the global card networks of Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners, JCB, and China UnionPay, we can provide the highest quality of payment processing while also leading the market in terms of product innovation.

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Product Manager to take charge of Adyen's tokenization offerings, including our Token Vault, Account Updater, and Network Tokenization services. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead critical product initiatives, work closely with internal teams and external partners, and make an impact on how merchants deliver secure and seamless payment experiences.

What you’ll do:

• Own the Product: Take full ownership of Adyen’s tokenization products, shaping their development to meet both current and future market needs.
• Set the Vision: Work with commercial, support, and development teams to create and maintain a forward-thinking product roadmap. Balance immediate needs with a long-term view to ensure sustained growth and innovation.
• Deliver Results: Collaborate with engineers to prioritize and execute product development projects. Ensure new features and improvements are delivered effectively and meet the needs of our merchants.
• Drive Merchant Success: Identify ways to optimize transaction flows and work on getting these improvements implemented, ensuring they benefit our global merchants.
• Collaborate Internally: Act as a key point of contact between merchants and Adyen’s internal teams, ensuring alignment across departments for seamless product delivery.
• Engage Externally: Build and maintain relationships with key industry players like Visa, Mastercard, and local regulators, navigating cultural and time zone differences to drive successful partnerships.

Who you are

• Product Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering impactful results.
• Domain Expertise: Preferably domain knowledge in payments, fintech or related fields with deep knowledge of tokenization, payment networks (e.g., Visa, Mastercard), and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
• Technical Acumen: Ability to work closely with engineers, understand APIs, system architectures, and deliver technically complex products.
• Strategic Leadership: Proven experience in developing product strategies, driving cross-functional teams, and managing relationships with external stakeholders like payment networks and regulators.
• Analytical & Results-Oriented: Strong data-driven mindset, skilled in interpreting complex data, A/B testing, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Exceptional Communication & Collaboration: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, engage with global teams, and influence stakeholders effectively.
