Merchandising Operations Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Merchandise Operations Manager to support the International merchandising process and assist in managing the milestone calendar for Go-To-Market (GTM). In this role, you will collaborate with Global Category Management, Global and International Marketing, Sales, and Planning to ensure that International Merchandising is effectively managing deliverable tasks and deadlines leading up to seasonal sell-in.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in supporting all Channels by providing the necessary processes, tools, and information to help achieve seasonal targets.
  • Collaborate with the International Merchandise Director to contribute to the merchandise initial planning and define the range framework.
  • Help develop and standardize processes across all channels, including range planning, pricing, margin, and international assortment.
  • Work alongside the International Merchandising Team to assist in developing range planning initiatives.
  • Analyze historical data, current trends, and financial risks to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Support the pricing process and coordinate with Finance and Demand Planning to ensure accurate margin calculations.
  • Manage and communicate effectively regarding product range database and system maintenance to maintain a single source of range data.
  • Assist in the end-to-end SMU process by facilitating communication and alignment between International and Global teams.
  • Collaborate with the Director on merchandising-related projects and contribute to continuous improvements for the team.
  • Track progress against milestones and provide timely updates to the Merchandise Director on delivery status.
  • Conduct milestone hindsight to find opportunities for improvement and conduct root cause analysis where necessary when objectives are missed.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 5+ years related experience and people management experience.
  • Strong organizational, change management, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage calendars and projects.
  • Strong skill set for building and managing process.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Effectively manage time and operate with sense of urgency.
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and complex conditions.
