Job Description

As our Sales Executive, you run the business in the Renewable Energy Sector in Southern Europe. Typical customers are companies trading on the energy markets and companies which own some of the largest renewable energy assets in your region. With the Helin Smart Grid Manager, we enable our customers to maximize the return on their investment in Solar, Wind, and Battery.

You develop and execute a comprehensive business plan aligned with Helin's overall go-to-market strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. You engage with customers to lead the way in Artificial Intelligence and Edge Computing.

In addition, you bring the voice of the customer to the rest of the team and work closely with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, pre-sales, and product development, to ensure a coordinated and customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

Who are you?

Honestly, we don't even need to spell out this role for you. You live and breathe it. This role is both hands-on and on a tactical level. You can think both long term and short term and work on both levels. What clicks with our team is someone who’s self-reliant, detail-oriented, structured, and a good sounding board. Someone who gets a kick out of driving important changes, making an impact with innovation. Someone who leaves a mark!

  1. You have 3 – 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in an international (enterprise) sales role of complex SaaS or PaaS technology.
  2. It would be a big plus if you worked in the (renewable) energy market, or similar industrial markets.
  3. Ideally, you have experience in a fast-growing start-up/scale-up, setting up, and implementing best practices, processes, and systems.
  4. You are a resident of The Netherlands and have a permanent work permit (we do not sponsor visas nor relocations).
  5. You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or equivalent.
  6. You have exceptional English communication skills and a good understanding, preferably, native speaker, of one or more local languages (e.g., Spanish).
