About this role:

The Groceries, Convenience & Retail team at Thuisbezorgd.nl is on a mission to grow this new vertical rapidly. With digital grocery and convenience as a fast growing market, this presents a strategic business opportunity, and we are determined to become the sector’s leader. This team is responsible for the strategic vision, acquisition and development of the largest partnerships in the Netherlands. As the Key Account Manager, you play a critical role in achieving this ambition.

In this role you will build and maintain relationships with (potential) franchise stores of chain partners in the Netherlands. The majority of the effort goes into the (1) acquisition of new stores that are part of franchise chains and (2) leading them towards success on the platform (account management). Your main focus geographically is the Randstad area where you will be doing daily visits and calls to acquire and manage franchise stores within the Grocery, Convenience & Retail segment. In short, you start with individual franchisees and will work towards HQ deals bringing our business, and your own career within sales, to the next phase of growth.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Be hungry to close deals with franchise stores by walking into their stores or seeking contact via phone or e-mail on a daily basis. You are both the hunter and the farmer!
  • Create an early success with these franchise stores in order to build an example to convert additional franchisees and their headquarters.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals through lead generating, prospecting, qualifying, managing, closing and implementing sales opportunities;
  • Be a driven and positive individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and contributes to our growth journey;

What will you bring to the table?

We are looking for someone who is driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You are ready to get on board and help us unlock this future growth engine!

  • 2-4 years’ experience in sales roles, preferably in field sales and/or account management;
  • You are goal oriented, motivated to get the best out of yourself and our partners;
  • You love being on the road and are always looking to close deals and build key relationships;
  • Are able to work independently, but are also a team player
  • You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week
  • You have a driver's licence and live in the Randstad (or closeby);
  • Fluent in Dutch, and advanced in English (written & spoken);
