Join Us as a Service Delivery and Change Training Lead

At Barclays, you will manage multiple training projects over various workstreams, liaising with operational stakeholders to ensure that projects are run efficiently and timely. You will be the training team’s representative in various forums with senior stakeholders up to director level, including training, continuous improvement, quality, and change. Your insights into training and perceived quality issues from performed root cause and gap analysis will be invaluable.

Experience Required

To be successful as a Service Delivery and Change Training Lead, you should have experience with:

  • Managing a team
  • Effective training and coaching
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, up to a senior level

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant to success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

Purpose of the Role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations in operational processes.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practices in banking operations.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Assistant Vice President Expectations

  • Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
