Data Product Owner (DPO)

As a Data Product Owner (DPO) at ABN AMRO, you are responsible for the delivery of Data Products and/or Golden Datasets to the Credits data domain. Your scope includes the golden datasets of Asset Based Finance. With your specific in-depth knowledge of the data domain's related standards and guidelines, you organize and lead the Credits Data Product Team (CDPT). This agile-working team focuses on the continuous development of data-related products, services, and processes. You are tasked with making informed decisions and achieving the objectives set for the CDPT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Data Products aligned with the data strategy of the Credits Data Domain and ABN AMRO
• Manage data risks for a Data Product and/or Golden Datasets
• Gather Data Product requirements and deliver the Data Product compliant to relevant standards and policies, local laws, and regulations
• Implement Data Quality Checks
• Align with other data domains and resolution parties on the progress of data issues
• Identify and act on impediments and other factors hampering issue resolution
• Monitor and ensure compliance with BCBS 239 and other regulations (such as GDPR)
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members
• Be inspiring and supportive in leadership and set the example for others

Working Environment

The new CDPT is part of the Value Proposition ABF Commercial Finance and is integrated into the ABF Data Community. The CDPT comprises Data Stewards reporting directly to you and Data Engineers from the IT Department through a functional reporting line. The team may also consist of Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Subject Matter Experts, added on a use-case basis. You report directly to Iris Reijndorp and have a functional reporting line to the Credits Data Domain Owner of ABN AMRO bank.

• You work and reason at a university level
• You know how a bank operates and have experience (3+ years) as a product owner
• You have a proven track record in data management
• You have strong knowledge and experience in products, processes, IT systems, and data within the field of Credits, preferably Lease and Factoring
• You understand the complexity of regulation, compliance, legislation, risk, commercial interest, and IT and know how these relate to each other
• You excel in analyzing and structuring complex problems, identifying solutions/options, and presenting advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner
• You are a solid communicator and discussion partner for stakeholders at all levels
• You possess effective cross-functional collaboration skills

We Are Offering

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. This allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If no purchases or reservations are made in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
