RPA Solution Architect (UiPath)

The Team

As part of NBCUniversal’s ambition to drive digital transformation, we see that many manual activities can be automated with intelligent technologies, which resulted in the creation of a center of excellence based in Amsterdam called the” Virtual Workforce” (“VWF”). We use Hyperautomation to automate financial processes, we pre-dominantly focus on Robotic Process Automation (“RPA”) and we are using AI and ML technology to make our robots smarter. Besides, we also use low-code automation to automate workflows.

The VWF team is growing rapidly, and therefore, the VWF is now looking for a new Robotic Process Automation Solution Architect to further expand the team.

The Role

Robotic Process Automation Solution Architect has the primary focus to identify problems and to then solve them. The RPA Solution Architect designs end-to-end RPA solutions for business users. One of the most important tasks is developing a stable, reusable and scalable RPA solution design and making sure that it follows all the best practices agreed upon within NBCUniversal. A Solution Architect can also review codes.

You will work closely together with the other RPA Solution Architects and the RPA developers to automate existing manual processes. Besides, you will also be an important partner for our business users as you will need to translate the RPA request into a solid technical design. So, you are basically the face of our team towards business users within NBCUniversal.

Key responsibilities

· Interpreting business needs of finance stakeholders, validating business cases, and translating them into RPA projects.

· Create and maintain solution documentation (PDD, SDD, etc)

· Collaborate pro-actively with project stakeholders during the design of RPA projects to capture complete process and timely delivery.

· Support User Acceptance testing and validation.

· Participate in our day-to-day sprint planning with development team.

· Share best practices / experiences gained on projects to determine trends and opportunities for potential projects.

· Supporting RPA Architect with different Hyperautomation project, e.g. Document Understanding, Generative AI

Essential

· Bachelor degree.

· Professional working experience with UiPath.

· Minimum 2 year of experience in a similar position, preferably within an international (corporate) environment.

· Experience with developing/implementing process improvements.

· Strongly analytical and with high standards for work quality.

· Good interpersonal skills and a true team player.
