Account Management Role Focused on the Pharmaceutical Industry

Due to rapid growth, Wolters Kluwer Enablon is expanding its account management team with a new position focused on the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves selling our industry-leading Environmental, Health & Safety, and operational excellence software platform to both new and existing clients in the European pharma sector. The primary focus will be on the top 100 pharmaceutical companies, engaging with C-level executives in finance and operations, as well as specialists in health & safety, environmental sustainability, and IT. Industry-Specific Focus and Expertise Required

Given the industry-specific focus, a strong affinity for the pharmaceutical sector and expertise in software platform sales are crucial for this role. To succeed, you must have a proven sales track record, coupled with a high-energy, self-starting approach, and the ability to coordinate teams and manage complex sales processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales prospects
  • Maintain post-sales contact with large or strategic clients to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship
  • Communicate with customers with regards to any account problems and discuss customer concerns and suggestions
  • Focus efforts on product feedback, enhancement, upgrades, and development
  • Report suggestions to and develop solutions with sales, order processing, and customer success and support team
  • Compile data on marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing and report to management
  • Travel to and attend conferences, events, and customer meetings as required

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in Field Sale or Account Management or other equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry
  • Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills
  • Ability to plan own territory/account approach and manage own resources; train and mentor junior staff
