At flatexDEGIRO, you will join around 15 young, smart and motivated colleagues as a Junior Trading Assistant in the Service Desk team. You will be the first point of contact between retail traders and the company, gaining broad exposure to the DEGIRO product while working closely with teams such as Brokerage and Risk.

Improve Europe’s leading investment platform

  • Take ownership of customer requests and, with guidance from the team, help identify short- and long-term improvements to processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Support customers with information about our platform and learn to handle more complex topics such as Corporate Actions, securities transfers, and trading-related inquiries.
  • Assist and gradually take responsibility in specialized sub-teams that work on long-term solutions for recurring challenges.
  • Communicate with and support different internal departments to help resolve trading-related requests, with training and ongoing support.

To best assist our customers, we offer you the following opportunities:

  • Relevant training and onboarding into transfers, tax, corporate actions, trading venues, market abuse, amongst others
  • Paid opportunity to go for the CFA Level 1 certification

Your assistance to customers will be amongst the following topics:

  • Take ownership of customer requests to find a short- and/or long-term solution and improve processes, collaborating with various departments responsible for the daily operations of DEGIRO.
  • Assist customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from prospect stage to full account usage, including onboarding, KYC and EDD.
  • Support customers with the platform, corporate actions, transfers (pension, portfolio and money), trading disputes, the risk model, and related topics.
  • Communicate across departments that secure operations within the international organization of the flatexDEGIRO group, using strong communication skills in an international environment across a wide variety of subjects.

You bring us these skills

  • Have Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management or Economics. We are also interested in applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Dutch, Law or Humanities if you can prove you have a strong affinity with finance. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Are a native-level French speaker; this is a must.
  • Are fluent in English.
  • Have 0–2 years of experience.
  • Have a good understanding of financial products and affinity with the financial markets.
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Are an energetic team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Are living in the Amsterdam metropolitan area or willing to move.
  • Are willing to work evenings and weekend shifts.
