Senior Finance Operations Specialist

This role is for a Senior Finance Operations Specialist supporting multiple business units and locations in reporting activities. You will provide superior customer service to clients, ensure Service Level Agreements and customer expectations are met, flag issues, and suggest process improvements to the Team Leader. You will be responsible for delivering standard and ad hoc reports to internal and external clients in a timely manner.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Deliver regular, pre-defined reports to internal and external clients
• Deliver ad-hoc reports according to stakeholder requirements
• Monitor the reporting inbox and track requests in an internal system
• Coordinate and distribute requests between team members
• Communicate with internal and external customers in an efficient and effective manner
• Ensure that data are presented in a logical and transparent way
• Seek opportunities for reporting process improvements
• Participate in external and internal trainings
• Assist with more complex tasks assigned by the Team Leader
• Take responsibility for cooperation and relationship with top clients
• Support less experienced Analysts in daily tasks and development
• Conduct internal trainings for new team members

About you

• Very good English
• Expert Excel knowledge (including Power Query)
• Intermediate VBA knowledge
• Strong analytical skills with attention to details
• Relevant experience in finance, preferably in shared service
• Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work in an international diversified professional environment; willingness to learn new systems and tools supporting daily work; thorough understanding of finance processes and respective control framework
• Ability to work independently
• Can-do attitude
• Business Objects or SQL knowledge will be a strong asset
• Previous experience with ServiceNow will be a strong asset
