THIS IS YOUR JOB

In this position, you are responsible for a wide range of financial administrative tasks and serve as the first point of contact for financial-related questions from Effectory employees. You will work closely with Effectory's finance team, checking and processing purchase and sales invoices, supporting month-end closing, and assisting with audit preparations to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will also manage debtors and creditors, handle employee declarations, and provide management with required financial information when needed.

Additionally, you will support colleagues in purchasing processes by comparing suppliers and negotiating for the best price. Team Finance has big ambitions, offering many opportunities for your career growth and personal development within Effectory!

Your Tasks

• Own the order management process – daily creation of orders based on subscription contracts of customers (25%)
• Ensure smooth integration of commercial to finance system (5%)
• Deferred revenue checks and reconciliations (5%)
• Daily invoicing to customers based on the orders created (20%)
• Resolving service desk tickets relating to general administration and finance (5%)
• Processing supplier invoices (5%)
• Month-end closing activities, including creation of assets, depreciation journals, payroll journals, accruals, prepayments, other balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analysis (10%)
• Updating cash flow forecasts (5%)
• Cash collection – calling and following up with outstanding customers (20%)

THIS IS YOU

• You have completed finance-related studies and have an affinity with numbers.
• You are skilled with Excel and preferably Exact Online.
• You are ambitious and eager to grow in a finance career.
• You are responsible, accurate, punctual, a strong communicator, and solution-driven.
• You are fluent in English.
