Finance Operations Specialist

Finance Operations Specialist – GL supports multiple business units and locations across different countries in General Ledger accounting activities, provides superior customer service to clients, ensures Service Level Agreements and customer expectations are met, informs about problems and suggests improvements in the process to the Team Leader.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Post transactions in the General Ledger (GL)
• Support month-end closing activities
• Maintain the fixed assets register
• Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Analysis of prepayments and accruals
• Respond to inquiries and resolve accounting issues
• Participate in internal and external trainings
• Assist senior team members on daily basis

About you

• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Proficient Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUO/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to details
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in shared service
• Good understanding of general ledger accounting, finance processes and internal control frameworks
• Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn new systems and tools supporting the daily work
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Concur) is an advantage
• Proactive, "Can-do" attitude
