In this role as Project Manager Data Quality within the Engine Services Data Management & Analytics team, you will be responsible for safeguarding and continuously improving data quality and data governance. You will report hierarchically to the DT&CI Unit Leader and functionally to the Project Manager Data Integrity.

What will you do?

As Project Manager Data Quality within the Engine Services Data Management & Analytics team, your responsibilities include:

  • Improving data quality by performing hands-on root cause analyses in close cooperation with data stewards and initiating solutions together with the solution teams to resolve data quality issues
  • Defining data quality rules (business rules) together with data stewards to make data quality measurable via dashboards
  • Developing, testing, and validating visual data quality dashboards with data owners, data stewards, and end users
  • Capturing, aligning, and maintaining metadata (such as KPIs, data objects, attributes, and critical data elements) by actively collaborating with data owners, data stewards, business and data architects, and other SMEs
  • Training and educating data owners, data stewards, and data users within Engine Services
  • Raising awareness among mechanics in the Engine Shop about the impact of poor data quality on the KLM organization and our ambition to become truly data-driven

Where do you land?

Engine Services is one of the three units within Engineering & Maintenance and focuses on engine maintenance and component repairs.

You will become part of the Data Management & Analytics team within the Data, Transformation & Continuous Improvement department, which focuses on digitalization, data management and analytics, process improvements, and sustainability.
