Unilever is hiringUFS Global CX Digital Chefmanship Project Manager

UFS operates with a different business model that has a greater emphasis on chefs and field sales to drive demand creation with operators in a Business-to-Business setting. UFS is a unique business within Unilever, with a constant focus on executional excellence and consistent productivity improvements leading to significant value creation and enabled by rich expertise in the professional food service channel.

UFS is the place where we are all striving to be Chefs supporting Chefs! At UFS we have an entrepreneurial culture with a commitment to speed, simplicity and trust, whilst having a hunger to grow – both our business and our people.

Job purpose

The Project Manager – DCGS Program Execution & Contextual Enablement is responsible for ensuring execution discipline, delivery cadence and informed escalation across the Digital Chefmanship program.

Reporting to the Digital Chefmanship Leader, this role translates decisions into action and maintains program momentum, while applying good understanding of UFS’s business context and chef realities to distinguish execution noise from true delivery risks.

This role does not own strategy, business trade-offs or commercial outcomes. Its value lies in execution excellence combined with contextual judgement, enabling leadership to focus on decisions and impact.

Reporting line and key stakeholders

  • Reports to: CX Digital Chefmanship Program Leader
  • Works closely with: CX, Sales, Marketing, Culinary, Data & Tech, Regions, Markets and external partners

Main responsibilities

1. Program Planning & Delivery Discipline

  • Build and maintain the integrated DCGS program plan, including milestones, dependencies and delivery cadence.
  • Translate leadership decisions into clear, actionable workplans across teams and workstreams.
  • Maintain delivery discipline while adapting plans as priorities evolve.
  • Ensure clarity on ownership, timelines and next steps across global, regional and market teams.

2. Context-Aware Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Track dependencies across business, technology, data and market workstreams.
  • Apply understanding of UFS’s route-to-market, sales rhythms and chef engagement models to distinguish execution issues vs. business adoption signals and local noise vs. systemic risk.
  • Surface risks and issues with clear articulation of impact, urgency and context, not just status.
  • Escalate blockers, conflicts and risks to the Leader with structured options and implications.

3. Stakeholder Coordination & Ways of Working

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration and disciplined execution.
  • Run effective project routines (weekly delivery reviews, dependency reviews, milestone check-ins).
  • Ensure meetings focus on decisions, actions and resolution rather than reporting.
  • Act as a neutral facilitator, maintaining focus without taking ownership of business debates.

4. Governance & Decision Enablement

  • Prepare concise, decision-ready program updates for the leader, CXO and governance forums.
  • Frame issues and risks in a way that reflects both execution status and business context.
  • Support stage-gate and milestone reviews with structured, insight-driven inputs.
  • Ensure transparency without overwhelming leadership with operational noise.

5. Partner & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery activities with external partners and agencies under Leader guidance.
  • Track partner deliverables, timelines and dependencies.
  • Flag misalignment or delivery risks early, with clear context and implications.

6. Change & Adoption Enablement (Support Role)

  • Support rollout and adoption activities by coordinating readiness plans, timelines and materials.
  • Track adoption-related dependencies (training, enablement, communications).
  • Escalate adoption risks or signals (e.g. sales friction, chef resistance) to the leader for assessment.
