As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between our cutting-edge technology and customer needs. You’ll work closely with engineering and commercial teams to translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions, support customer acquisition, and help shape product-market fit.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
  • Translate complex technical specifications into clear commercial messaging.
  • Support proposal development for tenders, subsidy projects, and custom offers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identify market trends and customer feedback to inform product development.
  • Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring alignment between technical scope and commercial terms.
  • Represent FSO Instruments at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • You will translate market needs into product requirements and will take Product ownership
  • Answering first-line technical questions from customers

Wat breng je mee?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related field.
  • Strong technical understanding of optical systems, satellite communications, or semiconductor technologies.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or customer-facing engineering roles.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup-like environment.
  • Commercial awareness and a passion for technology-driven innovation.
