Lead the Marine Crewing Team and Drive Operational Excellence

As Unit Head – Marine, you will lead the Marine Crewing team and ensure the effective and efficient offshore crewing of our vessels. You will develop team leaders, manage external relationships, and set professional standards for crewing operations. This includes defining Service Level Agreements (SLAs), planning targets, and implementing strategies for crew development and resource optimization.

You will collaborate closely with operations, discipline leads, and vessel leadership to define mid- and long-term crew volumes, skills, and commercial mix. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, competency development, and operational excellence across the Marine crewing function.

Your role

• Lead and develop the Marine Crewing team, including Team Leads and Learning & Development support.
• Define and implement strategic plans for crew skills development, cross-training, and mobility.
• Set SLAs and embed a service-oriented mindset across the Marine disciplines.
• Oversee planning targets and operational strategies for offshore crewing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics.
• Manage external training providers and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Represent Marine Crewing in key system meetings (Target Meetings, Readiness Reviews, Crew Launch Meetings, After-Action Reviews).
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date crewing policies, procedures, and competency matrices.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in HR or offshore crewing logistics, preferably in an offshore environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with high integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work offshore.
