Internship

Start date: February 2026

Assignment duration: 6 months

Description of assignment

Vanderlande Technologies develops equipment and applications for customers such as Amazon and UPS. The products developed by the Modularization & Deployment team need to be effectively presented to internal stakeholders for use during engineering, installation, and service. Stakeholders from Engineering, Service, and other departments have requested that this information be made more accessible. This can be approached from multiple perspectives, such as product centric or deliverable centric, and across different disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, and OT.

The assignment involves investigating with stakeholders the preferred methods for accessing the information, building an information structure to enable access via internal tools like Vikipedia and Devcola, and creating release tooling to ensure that R&D can keep the release information up to date.

Department description

The team works to make the equipment developed by Vanderlande Technologies ready for use in projects. This involves translating general deliverables into specific applications and creating and maintaining engineering software tools. We are a multidisciplinary team of Mechanical, Electrical, and Software engineers, focused on streamlining the entire project delivery process.

You will be fully integrated into the team throughout the assignment, participating in the normal workflow, including weekly progress stand-ups and planning sessions. On a daily basis, the team collaborates closely with both the Technology and Project departments.

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Investigate the requirements for stakeholders on how the information is preferred to be accessed.
  • Create an information environment to allow better access to data.
  • Provide tooling to support a quarterly release cycle to keep the information up to date.
  • Provide documentation for durable application and maintenance.

Your profile

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to understand and anticipate stakeholder needs.
  • Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and structuring input from multiple stakeholders to drive actionable solutions.
  • Experienced in organizing and interpreting existing data and translating it into effective technical implementations.
  • Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.
