SN Global Head of Pharmacy

The Global Pharmacy Lead is a strategic leader and the authoritative subject matter expert responsible for steering the global pharmacy channel roadmap based on the StratPlan. As primary Pharmacy expert for the entire global organisation, you will own the knowledge & capabilities required to elevate Pharmacy as a strategic growth channel, ensuring that global and local teams have the right tools, insights, and frameworks to succeed.

As the primary global Pharmacy expert, you will:

  • Feed all global capabilities with pharmacy-specific expertise, shaping best practices and embedding compliance and credibility into every initiative.
  • Educate and influence global and local stakeholders, inspiring them to unlock the full potential of this underleveraged channel.
  • Act as a thought leader, anticipating trends and guiding the organisation on how pharmacy can become a differentiator for our SN portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the right delivery of the Pharmacy Transformation Initiatives by 2030, aiming at accelerating the channel growth across all SN Categories
  • Build annual plans & ensure the creation of pharmacy-specific toolkits for CBUs to drive market share and sales growth in pharmacy, through Pilots
  • Drive global prioritisation of investments and resources for pharmacy initiatives.
  • Directly lead pharmacy engagement with CB&I to ensure strategic alignment and embed pharmacy priorities into global commercial programmes.
  • Guide peers on PRGM design and shopper strategies, acting as the subject matter expert to elevate pharmacy-specific thinking across all global initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Regions for execution, ensuring that global strategies are translated into locally relevant actions and that best practices are shared across markets.
  • Collaborate with Global and Local Marketing Teams, Strategy & Insights, and Global Channel Leads to integrate pharmacy into broader category and channel strategies.
  • Partner with external pharmacy-focused agencies, vendors & associations such as FIP our 1st ever Partnership with Global Pharmaceutical Federation to develop and execute initiatives that resonate with healthcare professionals and shoppers.

Context: This role primarily focuses on all SN Categories including Medical Nutrition and Gastrointestinal (GI) categories within the Pharmacy setting, requiring deep understanding of pharmacy category dynamics & of these therapeutic areas and their relevance in pharmacy settings.

You will be part of the Global Category & Sales Channels Team based in DPA and report to the Global SN Category & Sales Director.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of professional experience, with at least 8+ years at a strategic level in the pharmacy channel globally and/or locally
  • Proven track record in strategic transformation, including leading autonomously global initiatives that deliver measurable impact.
  • Demonstrated experience in piloting global projects, creating toolkits, frameworks, and new global processes that drive consistency and scalability across markets.
  • Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders & navigate complex organisational structures to elevate an underleveraged area
  • Skilled in guiding cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration across global and local markets.
  • Thrives in uncertainty and dynamic environments, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset & a passion for building capabilities from the ground up
