Introduction

The Customer Quality Care department of ASML is of critical importance to customer satisfaction, performance, and quality of our systems at our customers’ facilities (fabs). We drive the resolution and implementation of Customer Quality Complaints (CQN’s), which are the highest form of escalation from our customers due to impediments of our systems. During this internship, you will contribute to projects that improve processes and strengthen collaboration across teams. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and quality improvement within a high-tech environment.

Your Assignment

You will support initiatives that improve how ASML handles customer complaints and drives quality excellence. You will learn how project management works in practice and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic setting. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support coordination and tracking of improvement projects related to customer complaints;
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, meeting notes, and follow-up actions;
  • Help maintain project documentation and standards for quality processes;
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions;
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and root causes;
  • Prepare presentations and materials for management updates;
  • Shadow senior PMO officers to learn stakeholder management and decision-making.

This is a Bachelor or Master internship for 8-12 months, 4-5 days per week. The internship is not suitable for a thesis. The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.

Your Profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Technical Business Administration;
  • Are familiar with basic project management concepts/tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a multicultural environment;
  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills;
  • Have an analytical mindset with attention to detail;
  • Are fluent in English (both orally and in writing).

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
  • You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement);
  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
