Internship Opportunity: Commercial Performance Specialist at Philips Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics

Job Description

At Philips Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics, we work every day to help clinicians understand and act on what a patient’s heartbeat is telling them. We are offering a 6-month (or longer) internship within the Commercial Services & Solutions Delivery team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in the latest developments in Electrocardiography (ECG/Cardiology). It’s a great opportunity to build your skills and contribute to solutions that support hospitals around the world.

In the Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics Business Unit, you’ll work with our latest product, software and service innovations while collaborating with customers, channel partners and Philips teams across multiple international regions.

This role offers hands-on experience and broad exposure to how our global ECG service business operates. You will report to the Commercial S&SD Leader for the AM&D International Region.

You will take ownership of two core areas:

  • Installed Base Management & Service Sales
    You will help identify opportunities within the Philips ECG installed base and support activities that contribute to renewals and upgrades.
  • Performance Management
    You will assist in tracking key performance indicators, preparing business insights and supporting ongoing improvement initiatives across the service organization.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are studying towards your Bachelor or Master in Business Management, International Business, Marketing or a related field;
  • You have a passion for health technology, business operations, or commercial strategy;
  • You possess strong analytical thinking paired with a proactive, “let’s solve it” mindset;
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must;
  • You demonstrate curiosity, accountability, and a willingness to learn fast;
  • You have the ability to thrive in a high-energy, highly innovative environment;
  • You are fluent in English.

In return, we offer you:

A great opportunity to gain experience within a high-performing team. You will gain insight into significant events within Royal Philips, work in a closely cooperating team, and benefit from many learning and development opportunities.

We offer a competitive internship package, including:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and whether you need to relocate to The Netherlands. For part-time internships, the allowance is pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation if relocating to the vicinity of the office: €300 net if in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations. A rental contract is required, and your normal home-work travel distance must be more than 50 km or travel time (one way) more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation up to €192 net if you are not eligible for a free public transport card.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
