Join Nedap as a Product Compliance Manager

Are you ready for the next step in your career, advising the organisation on product requirements and ensuring that products are approved for global sale? As Product Compliance Manager, you will ensure that everything related to product compliance is properly arranged. Your work is essential for selling high-quality products that meet the necessary requirements. You are aware of the latest developments in your field and identify implications for the products. You will advise on and initiate inspections and ensure the correct documentation and evidence. In addition, you will work with Compliance Managers from other Business Units to share knowledge and jointly strengthen the compliance level of Nedap products.

In this role, you will act as compliance theme owner for product-related laws and regulations. You will identify risks and trends, monitor compliance and the effectiveness of measures, and advise management and the business units on these matters.

Your responsibilities

  • Advising and supporting R&D and Operations with the applicable compliance requirements;
  • Evaluating designs according to standards;
  • Maintaining contact with suppliers regarding applicable product requirements;
  • Initiating (foreign) inspections/certifications and providing guidance in the areas of: Electrical safety, UL, Radio, EMC, ROHS/Reach, Cyber Security, local approvals and customs documents
  • Drawing up technical construction files (TCF) for self-certification;
  • Preparing documentation for (foreign) certifications;
  • Providing input for manuals and markings;
  • Maintaining overviews of certifications;
  • Monitoring and implementing new or amended regulations and standards.

Your team

As a Product Compliance Manager at Nedap (Business Unit Security), you will be working in an inspiring and international environment. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by taking the initiative yourself. We expect you to take a lot of responsibility and ownership.

You will work closely with Product Management, R&D, Operations and fellow Compliance Managers in other Business Units. In addition, you will also maintain good internal contacts with the Sales and Legal departments.

Our offer

As a Product Compliance Manager at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. In addition to your salary, you are entitled to a thirteenth month, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a shareholder of Nedap. At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We also highly value personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, and we encourage you to continuously develop yourself.

Required experience and skills

As Product Compliance Manager, it is important that you are good at organising things. You are strong at maintaining an overview when it comes to keeping track of timelines and deadlines. You are part of a team, but you are very independent in taking initiative and picking up your responsibilities. You take ownership of your expertise and provide colleagues with input and updates on any new developments in the field of compliance. You are naturally curious and keep up to date with developments in legislation and regulations.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

  • Work experience: You have experience with Product Compliance and knowledge of certifications;
  • Knowledge: You have extensive knowledge of electrical safety;
  • Language skills: You are fluent in English and preferably also Dutch;
  • An advantage, but not a requirement: You have experience with UL and can perform pre-compliance testing yourself.

Good to know: You are available for 32-38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are preferably present at our campus in Groenlo at least two times a week.
