Lead the Invoicing, Collection & Recovery Team in the Netherlands

Position Summary

This role consists of managing an Invoicing, Collection & Recovery team of the Invoicing, Collection & Recovery department for a specific scope of Business Partners as part of the Finance Services division in the Finance Factory. The position involves organizing and steering the team, leading and developing people, ensuring the effectiveness of IT tools, developing and maintaining internal controls and procedures, monitoring performance of activities, and encouraging and facilitating communication. The goal is to ensure operational excellence in issuing correct invoices to Business Partners for all services provided to their customers, collecting outstanding amounts, and settling commissions to Business Partners and Brokers.

Key Result Areas

Invoicing, Collection & Recovery

  • Issue and send invoices to Business Partners.
  • Answer questions and queries from Business Partners regarding invoices.
  • Govern the collection process from Business Partners for managed invoices, including:
    • Performing cash allocation (reconciliation of received cash with invoices).
    • Evaluating new credit requests.
    • Establishing and maintaining regular communications with Business Partners to facilitate collection.
    • Notifying Business Partners about outstanding invoices.
    • Preparing reports to monitor invoice collection.

Commissions Settlement

  • Calculate commissions to be paid to Business Partners and Brokers as per contracts.
  • Send reports to Business Partners and Brokers related to commissions.
  • Answer questions and queries from Business Partners regarding commissions.
  • Govern the payments of commissions to Business Partners and Brokers.
