Yearning to be part of an organization that brings progress to life? Read on! We're hiring for a Senior Manager / Associate Director, Global Competitive Insights, Health, Nutrition and Care (HNC) in our Delft site.

This position focuses on the full portfolio of lipids, vitamins, carotins, Human Milk Oligosaccharides, nutritional ingredients, and botanicals. Your work will have a significant impact on better selling for the commercial team. You’ll translate complex data into actionable insights in a highly collaborative role with broad scope, requiring agility, influencing, and stakeholder engagement for success.

Your key responsibilities

  • Collect and structure internal and external competitive insights from sources such as CRM data, competitor websites, and customer feedback. Build a network of competitive insights contributors while establishing a strong industry network.
  • Evaluate competitor service offerings and position them against our capabilities. Build and maintain a “Competitive Advantage Scorecard” across products and competitors, benchmarking our value proposition across critical dimensions.
  • Provide ongoing updates on global price movements and competitor activities, including weekly and ad hoc reports. Analyze and report on import/export statistics, translating trade data into insights on product volume, pricing trends, and potential opportunities.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of competitor product specifications, certificates of analysis (CoA), and formulations. Lead competitor product benchmarking initiatives, including sample coordination and performance evaluation to identify cost-saving opportunities and product differentiation. Develop detailed competitor profiles including plant locations, production capacities, pipeline innovation, financial performance, and strategic moves.
  • Contribute to market sizing analyses to help identify new growth opportunities and prioritize strategic initiatives.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize CI tools (e.g., Datamyne), and demonstrate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

You bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in competitive intelligence, product management, or related commercial roles in the B2B industry, preferably in the Health & Nutrition industry
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and visualization skills to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with market/trade data. Experience with CI tools (e.g., Datamyne), proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree a plus

The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the experience level of the successful candidate.

Delft is the preferred location for this position; however, other locations will be considered.
