The work

Then we have the ultimate opportunity for you! We are looking for a thesis intern to join the Advisory team within the Design & Digital Products practice. In our team, we create new products and reimagine existing ones to deliver better experiences for users and businesses. Team The Design & Digital Products team is part of Accenture Song. We’re a cross-functional team of strategists, designers, and technologists who thrive on turning bold ideas into impactful realities. We think, we plot, and we create products and experiences that help our clients solve problems and seize opportunities. Our work spans the full product lifecycle: from envisioning future-fit strategies and building prototypes to launching products and scaling capabilities. Whether it’s crafting digital products that people love, driving industry-changing digital transformations, or improving business performance through technology and data, we are passionate about building experiences and bridging the gap between brand promise and expectations.

Daily tasks: In this role, the main focus will be on writing your master thesis in the relevant domain of Digital Product Strategy. In doing so, you’ll be supported by the dedicated people in our team. Alongside your thesis, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Design & Digital Products domain at Accenture Song, and explore the world of consultancy.

Research: We'll collaborate with you to define a thesis topic that is aligned with our business needs, but most importantly, that interests and motivates you! For example, your research could explore, but is certainly not limited to, areas such as:

• Agentic AI to shape the future of Digital Product Strategies
• Build Custom AI Agents that drive Intelligent Product Creation
• Vibe Coding as a new paradigm for translating Human Intent into Product Behavior
• Accelerating Rapid Prototyping and MVP Creation with GenAI
• The Reinvention of Human-AI Interaction
• Strategic Approach for Adaptive and Evolving Products

Song Talent Factory (STF)
As part of your internship, you will also take part in Song Talent Factory. This program will be leading you through your path at Accenture Song and will provide additional engagements, activities and projects to enhance your intern experience. Being part of the Song Talent Factory, you will:

• Get professional guidance on finding the next step in your career;
• Get expert support on your thesis topic while leveraging all Accenture resources;
• Be part of one Song program where you are required to collaborate with other interns at Accenture Song from our different offerings (Commerce, Design & Digital Product Creation, Marketing and Consumer Services);
• Work on a large internship long consulting project together with your STF group. This will allow you to not just get a glimpse of one of the four capabilities, but you will really get to see everything Accenture Song has to offer;
• Be part of the Accenture Song community through companywide and intern specific engagement events
• Enjoy the wide variety of training opportunities.

Qualification

Here's what you'll need

We expect the following qualifications and qualities from a thesis intern:

• Be enrolled at a Master’s program in a Dutch university throughout the entire duration of the internship; preferably in the area of strategic product design, innovation management, strategic entrepreneurship, business administration or business economics.
• Proactive, independent work ethic with a collaborative mindset.
• You have an affinity for innovation, business strategy, and AI.
• Eagerness to grow, learn, and contribute to a dynamic environment.
• You are passionate about trying out new things and experimenting with new tools and methods rather than focusing on best practices.
• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) and comfortable with English (spoken and written).
