Job Description

The mission of the Sr. Finance Manager – Financial Projects EMEA is to lead or support strategic financial projects within the EMEA region. This role is instrumental in driving operational efficiency, financial transformation, and cross-functional collaboration to support the company’s growth and performance objectives. This role will also include leading and coordinating financial integration efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end finance integration for acquisitions, from planning and execution to post-close optimization.
  • Develop and manage integration roadmaps, milestones, and KPIs to ensure alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Corporate Development, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, IT) to achieve seamless integration.
  • Manage complex finance-related projects, including process optimization, system upgrades, and cost management initiatives.
  • Conduct financial analyses to assess project viability and monitor performance.
  • Drive process improvement and harmonization across financial reporting, ERP systems, and internal controls.
  • Promote best practices and automation tools in collaboration with global finance teams to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Engage stakeholders effectively by communicating progress, facilitating workshops, and supporting change management initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, with proven success in project or program management
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and reporting standards
  • Proven experience in process improvement and financial transformation projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence across matrixed, cross-functional teams
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability, with resilience in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Experience in the medical field
  • Experience working in a global or EMEA environment
