Assistant Hotel Manager

As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you share responsibility for the daily operations of the hotel and ensure everything runs smoothly. Of course, you won’t do this alone, but together with the Hotel Manager, who has final responsibility. You are the first point of contact for guests and handle requests, complaints, and feedback. You make sure the hotel always looks neat and presentable. You know all the ins and outs of the hotel better than anyone and communicate them properly to the team and management.

Together with the team, you create the ultimate guest experience and always go the extra mile!

Responsibilities

  • Checking guests in and out, assisting in the restaurant, and supporting housekeeping;
  • Leading, training, and motivating all teams and departments;
  • Preparing monthly schedules, monitoring KPIs, and handling other administrative tasks.

Who are you?

  • You live in or around Amsterdam/Amstelveen;
  • You speak fluent English (Dutch is a plus);
  • You have at least 2+ years of experience in the hotel or hospitality industry;
  • You have a hands-on mentality and know how to lead a team.
