Take Ownership

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a critical role in owning our financial narrative, from forecasting to execution. You'll ensure there are no surprises, our costs are optimized, and every euro is spent wisely.

• Lead a high-performing FP&A team of 3, fostering a culture of ownership and data-driven decision-making.
• Own the entire Budget vs. Actual (BVA) process across all bunq departments, running rolling forecasts to eliminate financial surprises and improve forecast accuracy.
• Drive our procurement strategy by leading RFPs, negotiating with SaaS, cloud, and data vendors, and securing superior SLAs and exit rights.
• Turn insights into action by executing smart spend control initiatives that lower our Cost-to-Income (CTI) ratio and deliver tangible cash savings, without compromising product velocity.
• Develop and ship insightful dashboards (Looker, PowerBI) that make complex financial data accessible to all stakeholders, ensuring we operate within all regulatory guardrails.

This challenge is perfect for you if

• You have a strong FP&A background from a high-growth tech or fintech environment, coupled with hands-on procurement experience with SaaS, cloud, and data vendors.
• You're an expert in variance analysis, driver-based forecasting, and can apply zero-based or clean-sheet thinking to challenge the status quo.
• You are a master negotiator who can confidently move vendors on price and SLAs while securing essential rights to audit and exit contracts.
• You have lead, mentored, and developed a small-to-medium-sized finance team.
• You build powerful, intuitive dashboards in tools like Looker or PowerBI to turn data into actionable insights.

• Fluent in English – Communicate effectively in a global team, ensuring collaboration and clarity across all project stages.
