HERE'S WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER:

As a G-STAR Retail Manager for our outlet stores, you will be fully accountable for delivering the forecasted profit and loss (P&L) within your designated regions. This role involves driving business growth through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and overseeing the implementation of store operations policies, standards, and procedures to maximize performance. You will lead, guide, coach, and support your direct reports, while collaborating closely with relevant departments at headquarters. Your responsibilities cover outlet stores in the BeNeLux and DACH regions. This role requires a willingness to travel frequently, as travel to our outlets is a significant part of the job.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive and analyze weekly store performance, implementing company sales tools and monitoring KPIs, revenues, and P&L in real-time.
  • Closely cooperate with the Retail Management of outlet centers to optimize visibility and performance.
  • Lead weekly regional trade performance meetings and develop action plans to prioritize outlet activities.
  • Ensure labor cost accuracy, manage budgets, and maintain outlet team blueprints.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to all direct reports to achieve KPIs and improve talent, operations, merchandising, financial, and customer outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines for assigned G-STAR outlets.
  • Align outlet plans with national marketing campaigns and collaborate with HQ and external partners to optimize performance.
  • Develop strong partnerships and provide clear performance insights to the Head of Retail Europe.
  • Act as a market expert, translating local product needs and pricing strategies to the buying and merchandising team.
  • Define annual and seasonal store budgets in alignment with long-term plans.
  • Optimize regional assortments by providing input to the Buying department based on local sales expectations, time to market, and business plans.
  • Identify training needs and provide solutions via e-learning or on-site training in sales, service, business planning, product knowledge, and operational excellence. Offer on-the-ground coaching to Store Management and staff.
  • Manage and develop Store managers and staff, overseeing hiring, training, and development in sales techniques, customer service, teamwork, and G-STAR DNA.
  • Implement and execute the goal-setting process.
  • Supervise staff planning in stores, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive environment and culture.
  • Drive and optimize team engagement by ensuring an optimal in store communication process.
  • Drive operational excellence through thorough execution of weekly RFID stock takes and compliance to all policies, standards and procedures.
  • Manage omnichannel tasks like ship-from-store, endless aisle, and CRM.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards and seasonal retail marketing campaigns align with global standards, including product presentation, mannequins, windows, and signage.
  • Upholding G-STAR store standards to guarantee the best customer experience.
  • Assist with store openings, refits, and closures.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail leadership.
  • Proven track record in operational performance on KPIs at HQ and country levels.
  • Relevant experience in Apparel, Fashion, and/or Retail industry.
  • Strong work ethic: Being proactive, dedicated, and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
  • Adaptability: The ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks, even under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English + Dutch and/or German.
