Role Responsibilities

• Performing lab support activities including assays to support analytical development using techniques such as A280, SEC, cIEF, cSDS, and Excipients testing.
• Managing samples: receipt, storage, disposal, and shipments.
• LC-Requalification, TOC monthly verification, cleaning validation, and buffer preparation.
• Generating, analyzing, and reviewing results data.
• Performing lab duty checks.
• Creating, adjusting, and maintaining documentation as required.
• Conducting proceedings in laboratory and sample management areas according to relevant GMP documentation.
• Keeping equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining supplies.
• Performing preventive maintenance and organizing repairs if necessary.
• Recognizing obstacles and discussing problems with colleagues and supervisors.
• Following all safety protocols, SOPs, and documentation as required.

Qualifications

• MBO or Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedicine, process technology (or equivalent).
• Starter/1-2 years’ relevant work experience in a biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry environment.
• Experience in a quality or GMP role in a cGMP environment is preferred.
• Experience with techniques such as A280, SEC, cIEF, cSDS, HPLC, MS, TOC, SDS-PAGE is preferred.
• Experience with buffer preparation is preferred.
• Strong communication skills. Dutch and English (spoken/written); daily communication language on location is English.
• Problem solving skills.

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Flexible and able to prioritize well.
• Accurate, and attention to detail.
