JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for an experienced and creative Consumer Technical Insights Manager to join our dynamic team to lead the Condiments insights team within our Foods division.

The Consumer Technical Insights (CTI) Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the delivery of a Bigger & Bolder innovation pipeline, rooted in deep insights derived from qualitative, quantitative, consumer and sensory research.

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical insights program to drive strategic business decisions and create unmissable superior products our consumer desires. The CTI Manager will work closely with R&D and Marketing to ensure that consumer insights are effectively integrated into innovation, claims, and marketing strategies.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

  • Spot and interpret emerging consumer and market trends to uncover strategic opportunities that shape future innovations.
  • Decode the consumer experience journey to identify opportunities to make our portfolio the most desirable solution at every touch point.
  • Apply cutting-edge insight methodologies that reveal key drivers of consumer preference and write the blueprint for superior products and packaging.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and Marketing to embed consumer insights into product development, ensuring our offerings consistently exceed expectations.
  • Develop unmissable communications for customers and consumers to translate insight into impact.
  • Unlock depth, speed and agility through a cutting-edge capability program piloting new, digitally enabled methods powered by AI.

THE QUALITIES WE LOOK FOR

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Consumer Technical Insights. With at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with a variety of research methodologies - including qualitative, quantitative, and sensory - and applications such as benchmarking, preference maps and holistic product design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Result-oriented with strong analytical skills; data-driven in actions and recommendations.
