Your Job:

As a B2B Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with Brooks’ Sales, Customer Service and supporting teams such as Finance, Logistics and 3PL teams in EMEA region to update and support systems used to service Brooks retail accounts and its field force employees such as sales and technical representatives. This includes, but is not limited to, systems such as FastTrack, EDI, Sage Force Manager and their integrations to other systems. You will work with internal teams to ensure the retail system technology and sales field force automation solutions and integrations are stable and maintained to meet our business needs. While the majority of your effort will focus on helping our Sales and Customer Service teams fully exploit the features and functions of our B2B and field force systems, a key component of this role is to understand the technical capabilities and limitations of these B2B systems and how to best leverage them in the Brooks environment. In this role you will work with business partners to understand business requirements, review functional requirements, troubleshoot integrations with other systems, coordinate deployment of customizations, testing and own the training process for your applicable systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Business Stakeholder Engagement & Backlog Management
  • Contact for System Functionalities: First point of contact for EMEA B2B and Sales field force systems used by retailers and by Brooks Sales and Customer Service teams, enabling Brooks’ wholesale business sale-in and field force support for sell-out processes. Specifically serve as the EMEA facilitator for FastTrack and Sage support.
  • Contact for Business Stakeholders: Act as the primary point of contact between EMEA B2B teams and business stakeholders, ensuring streamlined communication that supports Brooks processes and delivery expectations
  • Contact for IT Teams: Single point of contact and spokesperson for B2B IT Systems and Sales Field force automation systems within the EMEA and Global IT organization, including coordination with IT teams and 3rd Parties (IT Vendors, 3PLs, B2B Channel partners, etc.)
  • Business Systems Analysis and Knowledge Sharing
  • Develop understanding of the relevant Brooks business processes and the supporting technology to enable these processes.
  • Develop technical competency to understand how the application works and is configured to support EMEA business processes & needs including the database and integration layers.
  • Maintain & update documentation including system context diagrams, system and data interfaces, and process flows.
  • Understand business needs and identify potential gaps or areas of improvement to optimize and automate processes.
  • Represent IT on project initiatives with B2B or Sales Field Force system impacts and/or interdependencies, as appropriate. Be the EMEA SME on supported systems and train other IT members when necessary.
  • Project engagement when needed - conduct research, facilitate workshops, prepare and present results to stakeholders.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of emerging technology trends, tool and platforms relevant to Brooks’ business in the B2B functional areas.
  • Solution Requirements and Design definition
  • Understand business requirements provided by stakeholders and development opportunities on projects – gather business input and partner with product owners to create detailed requirements and process flows using global guidelines and templates.
  • Provide task estimation input on projects, including working with 3rd party vendors to obtain detailed estimates of the level of effort necessary to implement capabilities based on business requirements and solution design.
  • Create functional specifications using global guidelines and templates and process and collaborate with technology team members on implementation.
  • Participate in the design of integrated business processes along with global system analysts and solution architects to provide new capabilities and streamline operations for EMEA B2B and Sales Field force systems.
  • Create test cases, test plans and test data to support all phases of testing on projects and enhancements: SIT, UAT and performance testing, including regression test consideration.
  • Conduct system testing and support UAT phases.
  • Understand stakeholder reporting requirements and utilize the application or leverage the enterprise reporting & analytics platform to provide analysis and reporting.
  • Solution Delivery
  • Collaborate with the Global IT organization to ensure that processes and systems are aligned with the global framework. Ensure delivery of technical services & solutions follows Global IT standards and processes. All steps in the Software development life cycle must be followed to ensure highest delivery quality.
  • Review 3rd party development vendors to ensure they meet the requirements and quality expectations through the development process and into the final product. Escalate any concerns to direct manager.
  • System & Operations Support
  • Support system upgrades, fixes and enhancements while ensuring Brooks change control processes are followed for approvals, planning, testing, documentation, and implementation
  • Administer system stability and scalability by using available tools to monitor system performance, space utilization, resource contention, etc.
  • Perform initial root cause analysis on production application failures and drive necessary remediation of defects. Communicate with clarity and appropriate frequency about progress on troubleshooting efforts
  • Generate reports to review master data and create ad-hoc reports as needed to do additional in-depth analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience. Additional higher education and/or technical certifications a plus!
  • 3+ years implementing, administering, managing and/or supporting IT applications in consumer goods industry.
  • Functional understanding of ERP and CRM systems, web-based ordering systems (B2B Ecommerce & merchandising such as NUORDER, Elastic Suite, Fast Track), EDI flows and other sales supporting systems.
  • Experience in business process optimization and general business analyst skillset required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to partner with key business stakeholders on different levels along with ability to tailor approach based on audience and message.
  • Solid experience with Data Mining and Querying required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, tenacity and hunger for finding the root cause of a problem.
  • Knowledgeable in system integration concepts including APIs, Web Services, XML and JSON.
  • Experience with development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and others.
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organizing and executing tasks while still seeing the big picture and understanding how the pieces fit together.
  • Ability to learn new applications and technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills that encourage and build trust for effective working relationships across the company.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management framework and best practices for systems administration.
  • Diligent and reliable, available to provide after-hours support as needed.
